We are able to lower our rates by extending the delivery time from 24 hours to 48 hours. This means your customer will wait a little longer, but you benefit from a significant cost reduction. Publishers indicate that this new option allows them to keep their titles available more effectively and sell them at the right price. For example: for a 200-page paperback, publishing without stock becomes financially attractive at 40 copies sold per year (previously 20 copies).
