Van Ditmar Outsources Distribution to CB

Since September 2nd, CB has been delivering Van Ditmar's stock (the wholesaler for English-language trade books) directly from our warehouses. This offers significant benefits for our customers:

• Customers can easily order foreign titles via CB Online.
• Customers receive the Van Ditmar order at the same time as the rest of their CB order.
• The Van Ditmar order will be included on your CB invoice.

So: we bundle Dutch and English tradebooks in one flow: logistically and financially. Most of Van Ditmar’s stock will be in our warehouses in the first week of September. We expect to complete the move and have everything in place by the week of September 9th.

The Van Ditmar Product Range

Van Ditmar provides over 10.000 bestselling titles directly from our stock, covering every genre—from young adult and art to novels, non-fiction, and much more. They also offer a wide range of stationery and gifts. Each month, the Van Ditmar team carefully selects hundreds of new titles and products.

Via CB, customers have long had access to Van Ditmar's ‘ordering service,’ which includes a selection of 1.3 million titles from international wholesalers. These can be ordered via CB Online and shipped to your bookshop or directly to your customer. This service will continue as usual.

Audax and CB

This collaboration with Audax's subsidiary, Van Ditmar, is part of our ongoing partnership with Audax. Since the end of July, CB has also been handling distribution and invoicing for all Audax shops (Bruna and Readshop).
